TeamAJKW are having a family trip to Cowra for the long weekend. We are just wondering if any HAVOC members have done caches in Cowra and if so are there any they would recommend we do not miss? We will be aiming to get them all, however with little kids and other family along, things don’t always go as planned, so a heads up on good caches would be appreciated.

Please use the comments section below to share your caching weekend with those following this site.
It’s enjoyable to read others adventures, especially if its a location that you have been to recently yourself or they found a cache of yours along the way.
Looking forward to meeting more local cachers at the next event.
Warm regards,
Bronze.

Anthony Scully of ABC Newcastle attended the Anniversary HAVOC event at Mt Sugarloaf.
He has written a further story about geocaching and has included some audio and photo’s from the event.
I am not the most experienced user of Google earth or maps and was curious as to some of the locals’ favourite tools or uses for the programs.
I would in particular like to know how to enter co-ords correctly (in the right syntax. it seems a little different to the standard LHHH°MM.MMM) and if there is a ruler plug in or measure tool that is easy to use.
Of course, any discussion of your favourite plug-ins or tools would be appreciated.
I am your father.

After a recent visit to the south coast and checking out the variety of caching down there, I couldn’t stand that some of our natural wonders in our area we not set up as Earth caches. So I hope nobody minds, I took it upon myself to set this one up. GC27NMN
Most of the Havoc folk could probably log this one using thir existing knowledge and old photos as I am sure we are all well aware of our own backyard.
(FTF still available)
