HAVOC Event

I have created a HAVOC event for Sunday 1 August 2010 between 10am and 12pm.

This is a meet and greet event. Come along and say Hello and get to know other geocachers in the area.

This is a great opportunity for new geocachers to get advise from experienced geocachers.

The event is GC2C45B Paegle Boy Wreaks HAVOC and will be published soon.

The most BOARing cache in the world

I stumbled into one of the more strange things in my caching career today. I’m wondering if any other locals have stumbled into anythig wierd while caching lately.

no the dead pig was not the cache. It was 10 m away. and it didn’t smell just yet.

Hi from Mossman

Have settled in to the van park at Mossman and I am driving Haulout for the sugar harvest season. Managing to do a few caches around here, Cairns and on the Tablelands. People must be a lot more active up here as a large number of the caches envolve a couple of hours or more of walking. Miss the historic and interesting caches of Lake Macquarie as most of the ones we have done up here don’t have anything of special interest. We have released our first TBs up here and one has all ready gone to Victoria. Hope all are well. DIPAUL RENO

Kiln fields curator

I have an isolated cache set up near Thornton, ‘Kiln Fields’ GC26EC2 where I ask the visitor to leave a sketch of there suroundings.
It was suggested that as the curator of the cache, when I do maitenance, that I also upload photos of the submitted artworks.
I had the chance to do just that this week.
The art is in the gallery of the cache listing, here:
Feel free to leave a comment next to your picture on the cache listing art gallery.
