On the way to and Adelaide caches

Does anyone have any caches that you can highly recommend to us as we are going back to SA for 3 weeks over Christmas.

We are driving and travelling through Wagga, Hay, Ouyen, Murray Bridge and onto Strathalbyn (where Rach’s parents live).

We are also going up to the Flinders Ranges, staying in Hawker where Dan’s parents own a caravan park.

As you know, travelling a few hundred kilometres to cache in a day is nothing to us! So any area in and around Adelaide would be greatly appreciated!

We do have good caching friends in Adelaide (Team Wibble) who have recommended quite a few but we were wondering if anyone could recommend a few? Especially in the Wagga area, although, with the flooding we don’t know what will still be there!

10:10 event?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if HAVOC was going to hold a 10:10 event? I did see that Big Matt and Shell commented on the 10:10 event down near Gosford, saying that they might move it up here as the other was cancelled?

GSAK help…..only a small thing…

Hi guys,
As you can probably tell from our GS profile we use GSAK to generate our stats. The problem I am having (that I need your help with) is that I don’t know how to upload our geocoin and TB finds through it.
Do any of you guys now how to do it? Big Matt and Shell???

EarthCaches

As a trainee geologist I have a vast amount of geological knowledge of the Hunter area. I want to ‘place’ an EarthCache near Nobbys as there are quite a few fascinating geological features in that area that not many people know about. The problem is that as there are no information signs for the area do you think it would be acceptable to confirm people’s visits by getting them to send me photos of the specific features??? Or should I get people to do a little research via the net and have a few questions easily answered from the net as well as getting them to send me a pic?

I’ve looked at the Earthcache website, and looked at about 15 or so different Earthcaches from around the world and they all have questions that need answering where the info is obtained from information signs/centres.

Just wanted to hear what everyone else thought, any tips would be greatly appreciated!
